ASER works to bring about a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation
ASER believes it is every child’s birthright to receive Hope for a better future, Education to grow, unconditional Love, and Protection from disease and illness.
ASER’s vision is to one day see a world in which children from the most impoverished regions have access to the quality education they need to lift their families, their countries, and themselves out of poverty.
The organization imagines a world where enthusiastic teachers educate students in safe, hygienic and dependable school buildings, regardless of how far they are from a major city or how little their school receives from outside funding.
ASER believes that through education, even the most impoverished people in the world have the ability to improve their own lives.
ROBINHOOD ARMY
The Robin Hood Army is a volunteer-based zero-funds organisation that works to get surplus food from restaurants and the community to serve less fortunate people. We are a group of dedicated, self-motivated students, working professionals, and housewives. And we volunteer in our free time to serve our community. We are presently in more than 140 cities and 40000+ robins.
We want to beat global hunger and, along the way, bring out the best of humanity using food as a medium.
The idea is to create self-sustained chapters across the world which will look after their local community. And in the process, inspire people around us to give back to those who need it most.
At Greater Noida, we serve food and teach slum kids, organise games, play with them and spread joy. We have tried to create a bridge that can be utilised to make the world a better place for our needy neighbours. We all speak about crimes, about the things that are bad in this world. So many people talk about them; it’s just that we don’t speak; we believe in actions. And impacting the lives of kids at a tender age can create a better tomorrow.
And we are proud to say that as part of our CatchThemYoung programme, we are being supported by Sheoran International School. In this programme, the small kids bring an extra portion of food collected by the robins and distributed at slums of Aichar, or slums near Gautam Budh University. The idea is not to collect food but to spread awareness about the hunger issue in India. The imprint these activities will put on these young minds will definitely make them more grateful for what they have as they grow up and, in turn, make them problem solvers and happy humans.
The Robin Hood Army sincerely appreciates what the Sheoran International School is doing and look forward to a long-lasting, sustainable partnership where we keep impacting lives, not just of our kids at school but also of the kids that don’t have the privilege of going to schools.
VEDARNA FOUNDATION
As a part of the CSR initiative, we feel proud of our association with Vedarna Foundation.
Dr. Kuldeep Malik, Director, Vedarna Foundation, has been associated with us from the early days of Sheoran International School. It is an organisation that is engaged in Social activities like Plantation drives across Greater Noida, Homes for the desolate physically or mentally challenged people and is dedicated entirely towards social activities.
It is a privilege for Sheoran International School, in association with Vedarna Foundation, to work for the betterment of society.
PLANTATION DRIVE- GO GREEN
Sheoran International School has always believed in keeping the planet neat, clean and green. Therefore, in order to sensitise students towards the need to keep the environment clean and green, Tree plantation drives are organised in the school from time to time.
We have religiously followed a Green Ritual; wherein every student celebrates his/her birthday by planting a tree. During the span of 1 year, we have been able to grow more than 300 saplings. Our students are always excited about the green ritual on their birthday and the plantation drives and so we are.
As an educational institute, we take the responsibility of making the environment around us clean and green. Heartfelt thanks to each individual who has helped us to achieve our motive to make the environment green.
